Mixed Media
Listed here are my miscellaneous works. Often, I tend to work on wood, often shallow boxes that I build…although I do sometimes stretch canvas. I use combinations of traditional and experimental mediums such as, acrylic, oil paint, resin, mosaic, or encaustic into which I may drip melted metal, wet concrete, bones, broken masks, red hot coins, or anything else that seems relevant to the direction of the piece.
They tend to explore my personal struggles and epiphanies and may have multiple layers of imagery and/or meaning.

Let Them Eat Cake 2024
In 2010, I was commissioned by Rohwer Lab to do a piece focused on the Phage Virus.
I did the life cycle of the virus using relevant symbols.

Ceramic Wallhanging Masks
My ceramic masks are made from earthenware clay that I fire in a kiln. Some are glazed, some are painted with acrylic paint and some are both. Occasionally, I will add objects, such as dread locks or branches of chili peppers.
